Learn to listen to your body for what it wants and needs. Using Kripalu Yoga techniques, learning your own version of postures with modifications as needed. Yoga helps with stress relief; better breathing; increase in strength and flexibility; improved circulation; cardiovascular conditioning; inner peace and more. (All classes will be designed to meet the needs of Beginning yogis and Advanced Beginners practicing yoga). Bring a mat and wear comfortable clothes.

There is still a lot of misunderstanding and misinformation about Maine's compassionate end-of-life care option. Many providers and patients in Maine are not familiar with Maine's Death with Dignity Act. Since September 2019, the law permits physicians to practice medical aid-in-dying under specific circumstances. Learn the facts and, if qualified, the right to access medical aid in dying if they choose. Join this class to get fact-based information and the details you need to know about Maine's law, how to have the conversation with your physician, how to qualify for the law and support your loved one who may be qualify.

The day before the Zoom meeting an email will be sent out to all who register with the Zoom meeting ID and passcode.

Maine Driving Dynamics

The Maine Driving Dynamics course is a driver improvement course that is designed to improve a student's defensive driving awareness. This five-hour course includes discussion of collision avoidance techniques, safety issues, driver habits and attitudes, and the basic elements that constantly challenge drivers on Maine's highways. Our goal is to save lives, prevent injuries, and reduce vehicle-related crashes. A student who completes the course will receive a three-point credit on their driving record and may be eligible for insurance discount. Please bring your driver’s license.
